Hey wonderful family and friends. I've never done one of these things before, but I'm really excited! I miss you all down here in Houston! I've been so blessed to be here working at an amazing architecture firm, taking online classes, planning a wedding, hanging out with new Houston friends, and going to Beth Moore bible studies every Tuesday night. If you aren't familiar with Beth Moore, she is one of the most amazing, passionate women of God I know.
On Sunday, I got to go run through Memorial Park and it is now definitely one of my favorite places in Houston. It definitely beats the workout room any day! I loved seeing all the families out having fun on a beautiful blue-skied Sunday afternoon. It made me think of Sunday afternoons when we where kids. We used to go on bike rides and I remember sitting in the buggy connected to dad's bike and how weird it felt to be moving backwards. I guess that was more normal back then though....back in the days of station wagons. Oh, man...you've gotta love it! One of my favorite things is remembering "the good ol' days"! If you think of anything random that makes you smile from when us girls where younger...post it on here! I love you all so much!

How great is this... The bike buggies. I had totally forgotten about those. Cracks me up! :)
ok, here's one for ya :)
popcorn, milkshakes, and (oh yes) Mr. Ed!!!
Mr. Ed!!! We could only watch it when dad was out of the house (playing softball I think). Wes ought to appreciate that!
Remember Grainfield, Kansas? Middle of nowhere USA. Big blue broke down. We got to lay in the middle of a field under a tree (the only one in Kansas) in sweltering heat while we waited for them to fix the alternator on the van at 5:00 on July 4th.
Yeah... we went through there this weekend on our trip to Mom & Dad's. It was special. It looks exactly the same as it did 10 years ago. :)
haha, I think we're the only ones who read the comments on this blog!! Good call making your comment into a post!
