Snow-nado

So remember how Mom and Dad (and probably Christy too) had thunder snow a few weeks back (yes, Oklahoma got thunderstorms that had snow falling out of them). Well crazy enough there are snow tornados too.

P.S. Can there be a tornado in a snowstorm? Someone asked this question a while back. I previously indicated that I thought there could be a tornado with a snow squall off the Great Lakes. I stumbled across a confirmation earlier today. The National Weather Service confirmed a brief F0 tornado near Bay Mills in Chippewa County, in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan on April 1, 1987 in a snow squall off Lake Superior. That's no April Fools report, either! ...see The Weather Channel Blog for the whole story
Better watch out Oklahoma folks...

Here in Denver we just get snud (snow-mud junk that is left a few days after a nice snow). ...And yes, that's as gross as it sounds!
